This is Ballarò at night, where I don’t feel at ease and I perceive bad feelings and social issues that affect the city. I feel deep discomfort here.

Here, this is one of the beach bars we have in Pelt. And here, normally, now it is empty, but normally there are also a lot of seats, and such made from palettes. All chairs and tables and everything and umbrellas in the summer. And then that’s one of the attractions for young people to go to.

If your bike has a leak or something, you can repair and inflate it yourself for free or something. I think it’s a nice initiative, because otherwise it would cost a bit of money to go to the bicycle repair place.

I just looked a bit at what is important to me and what is important to young people in general in Pelt. And for example, I first went to Neerpelt, in the center, because it is one of the largest hotspots in Pelt. And then you have this café street. I took photos there and also of one of the cafés where I usually sit and where a lot of people come. That is, I think that that is a very big and good point about Pelt, that we have so many cafés and good cafés. Since many young people go there and I think that without those cafes, that many would have to go to Lommel and so on and further away. I’m happy with that.

Between September and November 2023, I sent a notification to the waste collection company in Palermo (called RAP) 7 times to push them to come and empty the garbage bins, but without success. I feel unheard.

The class at first took a lot of getting used to, no one knew each other, we weren’t really friends. And now we are really one group of friends. We also do fun things after school, when we have to study, we do help each other. This makes me go to school with motivation, I didn’t have this before.
