And now, since the merger of the municipalities of Neerpelt and Overpelt, the price has gone up. So we don’t play footbal very often anymore.

First we did that every Sunday, with not really friends, but everyone from Pelt. we had a snapchat group, and everyone was welcome then. And there you got to know people as well. even people you didn’t even know at first. That’s how I got to know a lot of people around here.

Another thing I like about Pelt, whenever there are holidays or whatever, they decorate the whole community with all the things related to it. So, for example presents and such. That makes you feel a little more at home, I think. I mean, actually, I now also cycle more in the center or something, or through Pelt. And then you always first see those Christmas trees, those lights turning on, that just gives you a better feeling, a little more connected, a little safer, a little more cozy. Otherwise it will be so dry during the Christmas holidays. Alas, otherwise it would be so dark and everything.

My first summer job. A nice community to return to in the summers. Work doesn’t feel like work when it’s so much fun.

I would love to hold a course on environmental awareness at school, because it is something missing, but that it is extremely important I think I will try to push my professors to take more action to protect the environment.

In my free time I spend time with people. I try to fill my agenda because I don’t feel like staying at home. Filling my agenda with as many activities as possible (the ones that I feel close to) brings me motivation to study that I would not find otherwise.
